The election of Marion in DC is similar, in some ways, to what happened nationwide in the 2000 n 04 election nationwide, with the nationwide white majority.

The one thing I really have to say about this, is that the contrast is hilarious and some smart politician should take advantage of it by moving into the slums of DC, actually LIVING there with the poor. He'll find it, and I figure most people scared of slums, not as scary as he thinks, and it will let him see how a large group americans live.
